Nicki Cawood
Providing remote, non-clinical journal therapy and reflective practice for individuals across the UK
Nicki Cawood
I help people get out of their own heads and onto the page, in a way that actually moves them forward.
I am a CMA accredited journal therapist, twenty years of writing, and a SEND parent. Those three things are not separate. They are why this works.
Twenty years of professional writing and storytelling taught me how to find the precise words for things that feel unsayable, and that skill turns out to be exactly what journal therapy needs. The SEND experience means I know what it feels like to carry something that the people around you cannot fully see. And the training means I have the evidence-based frameworks to turn all of that into something genuinely useful for you.
I am based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire and work remotely across the UK.
Who Do I Support?
Anyone can benefit from journaling in a structured way.
If you’re unsure, please get in touch.
New to journaling?
You want something more purposeful than a blank page. Something structured, evidence-based, and actually useful. You do not need a crisis to start, just a quieter head.
Sessions are private, non-clinical, and led entirely by you. I provide the structure and the prompts. You provide the honesty. Together we move the noise from your head onto the page and find out what it is actually telling you.
Choose from group sessions, 1:1 sessions via Zoom, workbooks, and free resources, all available remotely across the UK.
Unsure where to start? I offer free 15-minute (no obligation!) discovery calls to offer the opportunity for people to ask questions and learn more.
